With a touch of German quality, Kaffeehaus is one of the Peñasco restaurants that is always busy for breakfast or lunch (not open for dinner).

Kaffee Haus is a fantastic breakfast spot that offers a delightful selection of breakfast items, including delicious pumpkin pancakes and top-notch coffee, which I loved. Second, it gets tasty bacon strips on a slightly crusty home-made bun. The staff is friendly and efficient, making sure your meal is served promptly and to your liking, they made sure to make us feel very welcome and asked us for our preference for many items, even serving us custom milk.

On the side you also get your choice of nicely done fries or the cold & crisp house salad. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet and indulgent breakfast or a simple and satisfying cup of coffee, Kaffeehaus is sure to exceed your expectations. They are a very popular location, they take no reservations and have a strict first come first serve policy.

Alternatively, you can give the Greek Farmers Breakfast a try. Moreover, memorabilia lines the walls. One of the only restaurants in town that provide quality ingredients for every one of their dishes. You will find it across from the Marina as you enter the Old Port.

Desde 2008, o Kaffeehaus trouxe-nos a experiência do café Vienense no Chiado, em Lisboa.

Moreover, the menu and daily specials reflect the Chefs German roots with items like schnitzel, and sausages with sauerkraut. First, this super thick burger is topped with grilled onions and crumbled bleu cheese. Every time we go they have the best fresh pastries and the yummiest food. Produzida exclusivamente pela cervejaria privada austríaca Schnaitl, uma empresa familiar na sua quinta geração desde 1843, esta cerveja requintada e saborosa representa a tradição e a regionalidade das matérias-primas utilizadas.

A nossa Original Lager é uma cerveja Märzen de cor amarelo-palha, de baixa fermentação, com um sabor fino a lúpulo e um amargor agradável.

The waffles are really good, this place is one of my favorites, the service and the breakfasts are always the best. Pode desfrutar de criações tradicionais de café Vienense, como o Einspänner, Pharisäer ou Biedermeier, enquanto explora a nossa seleção de jornais e revistas. And for good reason. I imagine that even real Greek Farmers would have to split this one sometimes!

Local Tips

Reservations are suggested on the weekends.

One of the best places to have a very traditional breakfast, their pancakes are the best item on their menu.

They have the best breakfast and most delicious chocolate milk! The house salad comes with lettuce, red cabbage, tomato, grated Parmesan cheese, with an acidic vinaigrette dressing.

Apple Strudel

One stand out is the Apple Strudel, made fresh daily with tart apples, crispy pie crust, and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Kids love their vanilla/chocolate smoothies, and honestly, so do I!

Get there early and avoid waiting in line. In addition to the charming interior, out front you will find a shaded dining patio, with views of the boats in the Marina nearby.

When a place is almost always busy, that’s a good sign. They have their own brand of pastries, and any of them are delicious. No two tables are the same.

Greek Farmers Breakfast

If you like a big breakfast, Kaffeehaus is the place to go! O sabor é equilibrado e maltado, com aromas de chocolate preto e cacau.

This is my favorite place to have breakfast without a doubt. My favorite for breakfast is EL GRANDE, a slice of steak, 2 slices of bacon, 2 eggs beans or potatoes with the house bread and 2 pancakes, or, Chilaquiles con Birria and a cup of fresh coffee just deeelicious!

Photos, toys, and posters, conjure up Old Europe. There are lots of choices for classic Mexican, or American style items to start your day. Homemade bread, pastries (try the authentic strudel!) and great daily specials vie with the outstanding European style regular menu.

In addition, you will find waffles, huevos rancheros, large combo plates, and espresso drinks for breakfast.
